Case: Frosted polycarbonate (PC).
Each half has a PVD brass weight
Stabilizers: GMK stabs (lubed)
Switches: NK Cream Linear (lubed and filmed)
Switches are lubed and filmed
The switches are soldered onto the pcb.
Plate: FR4 plate. People says this plate works better than the brass plate for less signal interference between the keyboard and dongle.
I installed a hand-cut EVA plate foam
I installed a couple of square bumps underneath to add some tent angle to the keyboard. They can be removed.
Condition:
The PC case looks great. No visible scratches, dents, or defects.
PVD weight has no scratches. The PVD job was not perfect and has a few specks on the PVD coating
Keycaps are \NOT\ included.
Layout:
Split backspace
Bottom row: 1.5u, 1.5u, 1.5u, 2.75u 2.25u, 1.5u, 1.5u, 1.5u, 1u, 1u, 1u
Extras:
Carrying case
Brass plates.
Supports VIA and QMK
I only used VIA which works well. If you want to use QMK, you can flash the dongle with new firmware.
This is shipped with the original box
\\\NOTES\\\:
This keyboard is only wireless (with the provided dongle). There is no port for a wired connection.
It is best to keep the dongle close to the keyboard as possible to avoid signal inference with the dongle. The interference can cause latency (you press a key and it takes a split second before your computer recognizes it).
Many people use a USB extension to mount their dongle under their desk near the keyboard.
The keyboard is powered by 2 AAA battery inside each half.
The holes for the screws (to assemble the top and bottom halves) are drilled directly in the PC; there are no metal inserts. Take care to not over tighten and accidently strip the threads.
The threads are currently OK since I only screw until I feel resistance. That is sufficient for assembly and I don't feel there are any wiggle between the 2 halves.
The on/off switches are under the number keycaps (see photos). You will need a tweezer/paper clip to reach and toggle it.
Keycaps are \NOT\ included.
