Hello r/mm community!

I organize the NYC Mechanical Keyboard Meetup. We meet 3-4 times a year in NYC and our meetups range from smaller events of 50 to larger events of 250. While giveaways are not, and will never be, the primary focus of our events, walking away from a meetup with some new keyboard goodies is always a great feeling. Vendors graciously send us things to give away (thank you thank you thank you), but most of our giveaway items these days come from community members locally who bring things with them to the meetup.

I want to open this up to a wider group. Do you have keyboard things collecting dust? Are there items that are not particularly valuable and therefore not worth posting on mechmarket? Is it just a pain to do all the timestamps you need to do? If so, send them to me, and I will make sure that they end up in the hands of a community member at a future NYC meetup.

There is no giveaway to small or silly. To give you a sense of the range of things we've given away in the past:

Exclusive artisans from makers
Bags of switches
Keycap sets
A literal zip-loc bag of spacebars

People were excited about all of these!

My request to you is this: look at your inventory - are there things you would like to give back to the community? If so:

1. See if a meetup organizer more local to you wants them!

2. PM me and ship them to our PO Box for a future NYC giveaway
