Conditions: NEW. Never used. (I've always kept it as a display/showcasing keyboard, for obvious reasons.)
I am selling a genuine CHOCORNE Low Profile Mechanical Keyboard (variant of the Corne Keyboard by Foostan). It is the most low profile variant of Corne (choc) that exists. Very RARE keyboard. Not easy to find.
The main differences with the ordinary Corne are:
- Original and Premium 3D Case from "Keebs For You" store (poland). [color Red & Black shiny]
- Choc Spaced (it has less space between keys)
- Column Stagger more aggressive than the original Corne.
- Switches are MINI CHOC Linear 50g (they have less travel and they are embedded inside the PCB // Actuation Point: 1.2mm // Total Travel: 2.4mm)
INCLUDED: Comes with:
- QMK/VIAL software pre-installed (for remapping the keys).
- a 100% CUSTOM premium 3D Red and Black shiny case. (100% original from this store: "Keebs For You" from Poland)
- Kailh MINI CHOC black (Linear 50g) + (x8 additional replacement switches)
- a protective travel case.
- MBK Blank Keycaps (PBT material). Homing keys and 1.5u keys included (I send some extra keys)
- x1 custom TRRS cable.
- x1 aviator USB-C to USB-A cable of high quality (Black and Red)
- two additional original Chocorne plates.
INFORMATION ABOUT SWITCHES:
- Kailh Mini Choc (PG1232) - Black - Linear - 50gf (It is a VERY UNIQUE switch)
- Pretravel / Actuation Point: 1.2 mm
- Total Travel: 2.4 mm
- Description: The MINI Choc switch has a lower height than its regular mechanical switches and offers a pretravel of 1.2mm (±0.5mm) with an actuator/total travel of 2.4mm (±0.5mm). Compared to the original Chocolate key switches, which are set up with a total travel of 3mm and an actuation point at 1.5mm using 50g actuation force, this reduces the total travel height by 0.6mm (~ 20%). Meanwhile the MINI Choc is also a bit smaller overall, measuring 14.5mm(W) x 13.5mm(D) x 8.2mm(H) versus the 15mm x 15mm x 11mm on the original chocolate key switches. This downsizing aims to make the switches more practical for use in laptop keyboards while still maintaining that premium feel and aural feedback user want from a mechanical switch.
