This is a new build consisting of all new parts. MW65 is a fantastic budget platform, and this board as built runs fast and smooth. The typing feel is soft, and the sound is quiet and balanced. The switch sound is well isolated with a pleasant, poppy space bar. The keys sound and feel very even across the entire board. The board is VIA compatible and has gorgeous south facing per key RGB as well as underglow with a wide variety of useful modes and color animations. The white PCB with clear polycarbonate plate and milky switches allow the RGB to really show off. This keyboard punches way above its price point for typing feel and sound.

As often happens with this model keyboard, there were a few problems with the kit right out of the box that required repair as the kits can be quite rough around the edges. The top acrylic layer had a defect near the arrow keys. I ended up filing the top surface and re-sanding down to 600 grit so the top face is brushed sanded finish with eased edges. Detail of the acrylic defect spot is in the timestamp. Also, the PCB had a defective trace that rendered one column inoperable. This was repaired with a wire jumper also detailed in the timestamp. The PCB is 100% operational after the repair was made.
