Description
Hi everyone.
TIMESTAMP
Looking to sell my Ctrl HP with tealios v2 switches and originative carbon black keycaps. Included are all accessories that came with the keyboard such as the usb c to usb a cable, keycap puller and switch puller. I will include the rest of the originative carbon black keycaps such as the numpad keys and other modifiers. This keyboard has been bandaid modded and also has had the stock stabilizers swapped to genuine cherry stabilizers that have been clipped and lubed. Keyboard is cosmetically in great shape with no dings to be found and keycaps have been owned for quite a few years but still look great.
One quirk with the keyboard though, I haven't had the chance to test it on other systems to see if this is a isolated case but, when connecting it directly to a macbook pro, the keyboard rgb lights up at its normal full brightness, but on a windows pc it would show dimmer rgb when first connected. This can easily be fixed by pressing (fn + ctrl + shift + i) which would bring the brightness of the rgb lighting back to the normal levels. This would only have to be done again when the keyboard was disconnected from the system. This particular quirk never happened on the macbook pro even after disconnecting it. This particular rgb issue was apparently a common issue among some of the batches of the ctrl and alt keyboards but i don't know if this issues has been fixed. Some forum posts suggest it could be the cable itself or low power draw from a particular usb port but this particular issues never really bothered me enough to investigate it further. Besides the small quirk, the keyboard is fully functional and has never given me any other issues.
I'm asking $200 shipped for the full build, or I would be willing to part out if there is more interest in that route. Prefer to ship within the USA. Thanks for looking!
