This is a brand new board built on all new components. It has only been run long enough to confirm everything is working correctly and tuned. The board is built on a KBDfans A60 CNC aluminum case with stainless steel weight.

Specs are as follows:

KBDfans A60 case (hacked for Bakeneko style gummy worm mount)

KTT rose switches (lubed with Krytox G205. . . springs lubed with Krytox 105)

The standoffs have all been ground off with a dremel and the PCB assembly is gummy worm mounted with small sorbothane blocks supporting the bottom in key spots around the perimeter. Instead of using a continuous O-ring, I have used silicone cord stock so the spots where the screw in stabilizers would normally interfere with the case are skipped. This keyboard is the first shown configuration in the sound test video. Also note, in the test video, the PCB assembly is fit quite loosely in the case. For final assembly, I used 1/8" striping tape along the side edge of the switches between the plate and PCB to adjust the gasket tension against the case wall, and the friction fit is tighter. The PCB assembly fits inside a variety of cases with different internal dimensions so I do not tune the gasket tension until I have decided which case to pair with which PCB assembly, and I wanted to test on multiple configurations for documentation and personal education.
