Smith & Rune Iron165 (R2) - Graphite

Hello mechmarket! 🙂

I am, unfortunately, letting this baby go. Wish Inhad more time to spend with her, but that’s life 🥲.

For sale is my, beloved, Iron165 (R2). It is the "Graphite" colorway (like a dark blueish-gray? see my timestamps please), it's "A Minus Stock," as there's one nick (around 0.3mm to 0.5mm in size - I included a photo of it as well as a random cable for reference).

I’d just like to quickly say that this board is the first whose design had my mouth dropping the second I saw it. I knew I HAD to have it the moment I saw photos of the 1st round, and had heard rumblings of a possible 2nd round. This is the epitome of a board that needs absolutely NOTHING else (in terms of special “mods” done, or any part of the keyboard is changed to make it sound better), in order for this to sound… great. Any (reasonably good) switch, will make this board sing!

\- Price: $625 (includes switches & keycaps), or $550 (no switches or keycaps)

I will include a video to a quick sound test (taken a week or so ago, I had my GMK "MoDo 2" keycap set installed then, but I've changed them to GMK "WoB" now. Both are GMK, ABS keycaps, the sound shouldn't change, as both kits are practically brand new anyways. But, if you have questions regarding the sound test, lmk!

Board Details:

\- PCB: it's got a mill maxed PCB (3305-1 sockets were used).

\- Switches: It has Moondrop's new "Lunalight" Linear Switches (long pole, stock, Aflion-esque factory lubing, if not better) - honestly top 3 best stock switches I've ever heard).

\- Stabilizers: Currently has Stabies (V2) - Nylon, Black-colored. Lubed housings w/ Krytox mix, stems with XHT-BDZ

\- Keycaps: GMK "White-on-Black" (WoB) - like new condition, only used to showcase this specific board.

\- Misc: I will also include everything that came with the board (hard carrying case, the aluminum plate and PCB of course, and anything else).
